ADMISSION/ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

Surgical Technology Program Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED/College Degree(s)/Official College Transcript(s)/Foreign High School Transcripts and/or Foreign High School Diploma/Foreign College Transcript(s) and/or Foreign College Degree(s)/Foreign Academic Evaluation(s) - (ALL Foreign Academics must be translated into English, evaluated, and submitted within 30 days of enrollment, but prior to the 1st day of class)
• California State ID or Driver's License
• 2 Professional References - SVSTI Professional Reference Form
• Reference Release Form - SVSTI Applicant Reference Release Form
• Typed Essay (Why you want to become a Surgical Technologist? - include your name, email address, and phone number - instructions are found under the Surgical Technology Tab)
• 12-minute Timed Entrance Exam (17 or higher is required to pass the Entrance Exam - will need to schedule an appointment to take on Campus)
• Interview with the Program Director
• Completed Enrollment Packet (will need to schedule an appointment to be completed on Campus electronically)
• Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $100.00 (goes towards tuition) 
• $4,400.00 Deposit (any applicable STRF Fees - payment plan options are reviewed at your admissions/enrollment appointment) 

Sterile Processing Program Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED/College Degree(s)/Official College Transcript(s)/Foreign High School Transcripts and/or Foreign High School Diploma/Foreign College Transcript(s) and/or Foreign College Degree(s)/Foreign Academic Evaluation(s) - (ALL Foreign Academics must be translated into English, evaluated, and submitted within 30 days of enrollment, but prior to the 1st day of class)
• California State ID or Driver's License
• Completed Enrollment Packet (will need to schedule an appointment to be completed on Campus electronically)
• Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $100.00 (goes towards tuition)
• $1,250.00 Deposit (any applicable STRF Fees) (payment plan options are reviewed at your admissions/enrollment appointment)
• If tuition is paid in full at the time of enrollment (at your enrollment appointment), a $250.00 discount will apply. 

SVSTI requires every potential student to be at least 17 years of age and hold a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. If you do not have a high school diploma or GED, you may contact the following agencies to obtain a Certificate of Proficiency (high school equivalency).
